Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 state that:  
‘Every employer shall, subject to paragraphs (6) and (7), appoint one or more competent persons to assist him in undertaking the measures he needs to take to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon him by or under the relevant statutory provisions’

We can ensure you comply with regulation 7 by becoming your competent person. Subject to a review of you existing safety management systems (or development of new systems) Risk Compliance would become a simply addition to your management structure. We would appoint a contract manager to work with you to assist you in your activities and to keep you up to date with current legislation. Risk Compliance would also independently audit you systems on an agreed basis.
