Supervisor Development (3 Day)

This course is designed to ‘up skill’ junior level managers and supervisors and give them an introduction into team management. It has been written, and is delivered, by people that have worked their way from operative level up to senior management and have therefore experienced the sort of problems that modern supervisors encounter daily. Although a lot is crammed into the three days of the course, it is designed to encourage frank dialog between delegates and uses case studies and group work to aid learning. Subjects covered:

This is a popular course and has provided tangible benefits to a wide variety of organisations. The course can be run as required i.e.  over three consecutive days, one day a week, at weekends etc. At the end of the course the delegates prepare personnel development plans in which they layout any changes they will make in their management style and how they intend to implement these changes. In the past, this course has been followed up with a further day in which the delegates provide a review on how the development plans have gone and are refreshed on team management issues. The Management Development course is a natural progression from this programme. As mentioned, and as with all Risk Compliance courses; Supervisor Development is a mix of theoretical and practical exercises.
